The RED ROCKS Challenge is part of the DEATH RIDE Tour Inc, Charity Cycling Events which is a register 501c3 Non-Profit and ALL the proceeds of the event will be donated to the ALS Association, Rocky Mountain Chapter with the funds focused on Research to find a Cure for this horrible disease once and for all!

The RED ROCKS Challenge is dependent on monetary and in-kind partners for a successful event. Partners are needed in the areas of event sponsorship, bike support, food and beverage donations, volunteers, etc.

RED ROCKS Challenge // Sponsorship Opportunities

If you have ridden the rest, join us on September 2, 2017 to ride the best – a challenging and scenic ride through the Colorado Front Range, followed by an epic after-party. Riders will ride through local landmarks including Dinosaur Ridge and Red Rocks Park, as well as classic mountain towns. The Metric Century is 62 miles and includes some challenging climbs in elevation. Our dedicated committee of volunteers works very hard all year to make this full-charity event a success. We are passionate about cycling and about helping to meaningfully address community needs. We take pride in the fact that it is a difficult ride and that 100% of the blood, sweat, tears, and net proceeds will go to the ALS Association, Rocky Mountain Chapter. As a participating sponsor, your organization is helping fulfill the goals of passionate cyclists while helping reach more lives impacted by this deadly, horrible disease.
Cycling by the Numbers:
The REDS ROCKS Challenge is for the experienced and charity-minded cyclist. They are people who understand the benefits of hard work and commitment. Your sponsorship will introduce those people to your business, as well as the other sponsors and various groups touched by our advertising and social media outreach promoting the event. We can’t do this alone. We need your help to make this event happen!
There are 64 million recreational cyclists in the US with a median household income of $60,000. Of that 64 million, 48 million are adults, 14.3 million are children, and of the adult select, 31 million consider themselves avid cyclists. Our target market, which is the more experienced cyclist, has a median household income of $80,000, 81% are college graduates, and 68% are homeowners. They spend on average $300 to attend a cycling event (food, transportation, event fees, etc.), with an average of 5 events per year. 55% of all cyclists spend between $500 and $1,500 on cycling gear each year. The average price for a racing bicycle is $3,500. The RED ROCKS Challenge provides an opportunity to reach these types of riders right here in Colorado.
